Located in the 2nd arrondissement of Marseille, the Panier district is the oldest and most typical of the city. It is also one of the most touristic, driven by the success of the “Plus belle la vie” series, which was inspired by the heart of its plot.

The Panier district has everything you need for a walk where culture mixes, thanks to the many essential monuments of the district, heritage, through its alleys and buildings typical of Marseille of yesteryear, and friendliness, seated at one of the terraces of café or local restaurant. The district also brings together a large number of creators and craftsmen of all kinds.
